First Quad Survey Completed
A quick progress report on the historic district fieldwork.
The historic district survey (also called Reconnaissance Level Survey or RLS) is being done in phases, as explained here.
The pilot phase in the SE quad, which is the blocks bounded by Glisan, Cesar Chavez, Couch and 44th, has been completed. The preliminary data is available on the LNA's website here. You can view the document onscreen, or print it out. It looks like this:
The next phase in the SE quad, which is the rest of the quad, will be completed this week. The preliminary data will be posted on the LNA's website soon.
We can all help in the historic district effort by reviewing the preliminary data on our house and providing corrections and missing information, using the online form. Find your house in the data, and then go to the online form and answer the questions that apply. The form looks like this:
The next quad to be surveyed will be the NE quad. As each quad survey is completed, the preliminary data will be posted to the LNA page and we'll try to also announce it on this website.
